On November 27th, 2024, Güntner, a global leader in refrigeration and heat exchange technology, was honored with the "GCC Region Manufacturer of the Year Award" at the prestigious Climate Control Awards. This accolade recognizes the company's exceptional business performance and innovative product offerings in the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) region throughout the year.

The Climate Control Awards, a renowned honor in the Middle East's HVACR industry, have been held for 14 years, featuring a rigorous and transparent selection process. Applicants must provide detailed responses and supporting documents, which are then thoroughly reviewed by a panel of industry leaders, experts, and scholars. This year, the evaluation criteria for the GCC Region Manufacturer of the Year award were more challenging, focusing on practical problem-solving, investments in “digitalization and inverterization”, considerations for aftermarket operation, data application and protection, energy efficiency benefits for customers, and contributions to the Circular Economy, among other factors.

Guided by the motto "Always a solution ahead," Güntner has taken proactive measures over the past year to address these concerns within the industry, yielding satisfactory results.

Last year, Güntner launched aicore™, an advanced controller system that connects with cloud-based IoT and analytics. It not only monitors heat exchangers for preventive diagnostics but also boosts the energy efficiency of refrigeration systems. Aicore™ can adjust dry cooler operations on the fly and switch the whole refrigeration system to free cooling, where heat dissipation is solely managed by the dry cooler.
