Cooling is becoming more essential across data centres, cold chains, buildings and industry. The challenge is meeting growing demand while reducing environmental impact throughout the product lifecycle.

The Sustainability Report 2025 explores where the greatest opportunities lie: efficient products, natural refrigerants, smarter operation, service, responsible manufacturing and circularity.

Some of the highlights from our latest report

90%+

More than 90% of our upstream and downstream Scope 3 emissions arise during the use of sold products and solutions, so this is where we focus our efforts to achieve the greatest impact.

Lower emissions intensity

Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions intensity fell by 13% in the past financial year, reflecting continued progress in operational efficiency.

Reducing water withdrawal

Total water withdrawal at our production sites was 36% lower than in 2021, with water intensity falling by almost half.

When 97% of value-chain emissions arise during the use phase, our focus has to be on operation. That means helping customers choose efficient equipment, operate it well, maintain it for longer and prepare for the future of cooling.
