He has held senior positions across the USA, Singapore, Japan, China, and Dubai, always focused on delivering solutions that meet real customer needs. Michael is responsible for the group’s Sales, Marketing, and Service initiatives, and plays a key role in shaping strategy, strengthening customer partnerships, and driving the Güntner Group’s global growth.

As Managing Director for the APO region, Glen has overall responsibility for manufacturing, sales, and operations across a diverse and fast-growing market. As Head of Technologies & Innovation and Managing Director of Güntner Group Europe, Michael leads global technology strategy whileoverseeing regional operations across Europe. Herbert, a seasoned professional in electrical engineering, automation, and business administration, brings over a decade of experience in refrigeration technology, strategic product management, and R&D. For 8 years at Güntner, he has been a key innovator, leading the Future Solutions division to deliver tangible technology and exceptional solutions, embodying Güntner’s innovative prowess.

Steffen Sinn

A leader in ventilation and fan technology, Steffen brings a results-driven mindset and innovative passion. Proven in leading teams and scaling operations, he delivers cutting-edge solutions for future air movement and energy efficiency. From planning to execution, he leads with clarity, purpose, and precision, ensuring initiatives align with goals and long-term growth. Ryuta Honzawa

Managing Director,AHT Cooling Systems Asia Pacific

Accomplished engineering and business leader with over 12 years of international experience across Asia and Europe. Currently serving as Managing Director at AHT Cooling Systems Asia Pacific, overseeing APAC operations in Singapore. Previously held progressive roles at Daikin, including Refrigeration Project Manager for Europe based in Belgium, Technical Engineer in Japan, and Strategy Planning in Osaka. Proven track record in Cold Chain expertise including Propane / CO₂ solution, and HVAC - Applied segment as well.

Alessandro Moneta

Business Development Manager for Renewable Energy Systems, Güntner

Alessandro Moneta earned a Master's in management engineering from "Politecnico di Milano" in 2005. He has since held various sales positions in leading heat exchanger companies, gaining extensive knowledge of the European HVAC and Refrigeration market. Joining Güntner Group in 2019 as Business Development and Key Accounts Manager, he was appointed Business Development Manager for Renewable Energy Systems in January 2023. This role, primarily focused on heat pump applications, aligns with Güntner’s commitment to sustainability and innovation. Alessandro drives the industry towards reliable, sustainable technology. With his expertise and Güntner's engineering, they are "Always a solution ahead."

Nguyen Hong Quang

Sales Director SEA, Japan, Korea, Güntner

Quang Nguyen began his career in nanotechnology research. However, he developed a passion for customer care, business development, and innovation in refrigeration after joining Güntner in Germany in 2003. Having returned to Asia for over 20 years, Quang remains enthusiastic about sharing his knowledge and experience in industrial refrigeration and other fields.

Anuj Bedi

Sales Director, Southern Asia, Güntner

Anuj currently oversees Güntner’s business in Southern Asia, as well as the Energy, Process, and DC cooling businesses across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions. Leveraging his professional background in mechanical engineering, he has now accumulated nearly two decades of deep expertise in the heat exchange field. From the latest industry trends to technical support for products, he speaks knowledgeably and confidently on all fronts.

Ian Suffield

National Engineering Manager, BITZER Australia

Ian has over 20 years of experience in the refrigeration industry. Initially involved in design and installation, he later took on roles specifying end-user requirements. Currently at BITZER Australia, he leads a team developing Added Value packages, ranging from condensing units to large Transcritical CO₂ systems, integrating electrical controls and Güntner heat exchangers. Before BITZER, Ian managed refrigeration engineering for Woolworths Supermarkets, implementing energy reduction projects across Australia and New Zealand.

Jeffrey Hargreaves

Business Development Manager, Data Centers APO, Jaeggi

Jeffrey possesses extensive experience in the data center industry, spanning over 15 years. With a Mechanical Engineering background and stints at Emerson, Vertiv, and Armstrong Fluid Technologies, he excels in designing cooling, power, and control infrastructures. In his current role at Jaeggi and its parent company Güntner, he focuses on business development in the APO region, offering expertise in hybrid dry cooling technologies and optimizing cooling designs for efficiency.

Chew Soon Jin

President - NRS Process Systems Sdn Bhd

Mr. Chew Soon Jin is the CEO / Technical Director of NRS Process Systems, with over 30 years of experience designing and delivering custom-built, energy-efficient industrial refrigeration systems. He is a life member of ASHRAE and serves as the Refrigeration Chair for ASHRAE Malaysian Chapter, demonstrating his deep involvement in the field. As an expert in natural refrigerants, Chew provides value-engineered solutions for clients in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and power industries across Southeast Asia. His work highlights his commitment to sustainability and innovation within the cold chain sector.

Jan Dusek

Co-Founder & Group COO, ATMOsphere

Jan Dusek, COO and co-founder of ATMOsphere, leads Asia-Pacific efforts to accelerate sustainable cooling solutions using natural refrigerants (CO₂, hydrocarbons, ammonia). With 13+ years' expertise, he bridges industry, policymakers, and manufacturers to drive eco-friendly HVAC adoption through conferences, research, and policy advocacy. Based in Tokyo, his work focuses on market transformation and climate-friendly technology implementation.

Katsuhiko Harada

President, Nihon Netsugen Systems (NNS)

Mr. Harada, a former journalist for NHK-Public TV Japan, has led NNS, a Japanese industrial refrigeration unit manufacturer, since 2004, succeeding his father. Under his guidance, NNS deepened its long-standing 1999 relationship with Gütner. The two companies have collaborated on CO₂ unit development since 2012, launching their first industrial CO₂, unit in 2016. Mr. Harada was recently featured on the cover of Forbes Japan (April 2025) as the first prize winner of a business model competition.

Gabriele Sernani

Export Sales Director of Arneg Korea

Based in Seoul, Gabriele Sernani, as Export Sales Director, is in charge of all export activities for Arneg Group's Korean branch. His work is focused on collecting client and market requirements to address and help the decision-making process in the development of Arneg Korea’s new items and business strategies. At the same time, he also serves as the Sales Export Manager for the whole Arneg Group for a segment of the Asian market. In this role, he focuses on developing new business opportunities and reinforcing Arneg Group's presence in East Asia.

Robert Friesacher

Senior Advisor R&D and Project Development, PT. EUROASIATIC JAYA

Robert Friesacher is an industrial energy expert with 20+ years of global experience. He delivers high-efficiency solutions that boost competitiveness and cut emissions across Asia, Europe, Brazil, and the USA, spanning sectors from F&B and oleochemicals to petrochemicals and oil & gas. He now leads the company’s expansion into alternative fuels and green-energy integration to provide holistic solutions.

Mark Langford

Technical Director, STULZ Asia Hub

Mark is the new Technical Director of STULZ Asia Hub. He recently relocated to Singapore to spearhead the technical service capabilities for Stulz across Asia. With a strong track record & over 20 years of experience in data centre engineering and cooling solutions, He will lead the Technical Services, Commissioning & Product Quality & Innovation teams for enterprise, hyperscale, and cloud data centres, ensuring solutions meet the region’s rapidly evolving needs.

Chia Peng Kiang

Growth Application Manager for Industrial Refrigeration (IR) in Southeast Asia, Johnson Controls

Chia Peng Kiang is the Growth Application Manager for Industrial Refrigeration (IR) in Southeast Asia at Johnson Controls. Based in Singapore, he leads a team of application engineers supporting sales and provides training in industrial refrigeration. A long-time Johnson Controls employee, he specializes in system integration for the F&B industry, focusing on areas like heat pumps and waste heat recovery. His background includes previous sales and engineering roles at Johnson Controls and its acquired company, York International.

Yahia Henblass, Consultant, Aseel Advanced KSA

Consultant, Aseel Advanced KSA

Yahia is a seasoned mechanical engineer and industrial refrigeration consultant with 20+ years across the Middle East. With dual Mechanical and HVAC degrees from Aleppo University, he leads Ecostar (CEO) and has served at Ideas Energy and CGS. He designs and delivers large-scale systems for logistics, food processing, and cold storage, from concept to commissioning. His expertise spans ammonia (R717), CO₂, and Freon, with emphasis on energy efficiency, safety, and compliance. He has delivered 10 MW ammonia plants, freezing lines, and cold chains. Passionate about sustainable cooling, he welcomes knowledge exchange, consulting partnerships, forums, and R&D.

Angga Pujaprayoga

Audit & Assurance Director and ESG Assurance Leader, KPMG Indonesia

Angga Pujaprayoga is the Audit & Assurance Director and ESG Assurance Leader at KPMG Indonesia, with over 18 years of professional experience in audit, assurance, and ESG-related advisory services. His expertise spans a wide range of industries, including financial services, telecommunications, automotive, consumer and retail, energy, and technology. He currently serves as a member of the Sustainability Working Team of the Indonesian Institute of Chartered Accountants (IAI) for the 2024–2027 period, contributing to the development of national sustainability standards. He holds advanced certifications from the University of Cambridge, New York University, ISCA (the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountant), and IAPI (and the Indonesia Institute of Certified Public Accountants), underscoring his commitment to excellence in sustainability assurance and corporate reporting.

Patrick Schlinke

IoT & Connectivity Expert, Güntner

After finishing the studies of Mechatronic Systems (B.Eng.) in 2015, Patrick Schlinke gathered various experience as a PLC programmer for machinery delivered to different industries. He has always been in direct contact with customers to understand their needs and offer technical solutions. He joined Guentner in Mid-2020 and his first project was to finish the development of the Masterpanel aicore™ master. Having also developed several solutions for Guentner units’ BMS-communication, he dealt more and more with the question “what do customers want and need to know about the operation of our cooling systems”. This led Patrick Schlinke to his current position where he is jointly responsible for the development of Güntner’s IoT-solution aicore™ cloud.

Olo Berto Siahaan

Senior Sales Manager, Indonesia, Singapore & The Philippines, INNIO Jenbacher

Olo Berto is the Senior Sales Manager at INNIO Jenbacher, responsible for leading new unit sales across Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines. With over 13 years of experience in the energy and oil & gas sector, Olo is recognized for his expertise in sales strategy, market development, and building strong client relationships. His commitment to business growth and customer satisfaction makes him a trusted partner in delivering innovative and sustainable energy solutions throughout Southeast Asia, driving long-term value for clients and stakeholders.

Fatahuddin Tamrin

General Managner, Mayekawa Indonesia

Fatahuddin Tamrin is the General Manager of PT. Mayekawa Indonesia and has been with the company since 2015. He has led and coordinated numerous industrial refrigeration projects, including NH₃–CO₂ cascade systems. Proficient in natural refrigerants and sustainable cooling technologies, he is currently focused on expanding the application of CO₂ and NH₃ heat pumps across a range of industrial sectors. Committed to driving innovation and energy-efficient performance, he delivers solutions tailored to the evolving needs of the region’s manufacturing and processing industries.
