Energy Days 2026: Advancing Conversations on Efficient Energy Systems

Improving energy efficiency while maintaining reliability and controlling operating costs remains one of the biggest challenges facing the energy sector today.
These priorities were front and center at Energy Days 2026 in Katowice, Poland, where industry experts, technology providers, energy producers and project stakeholders came together to discuss the opportunities and challenges shaping the next phase of the energy transition. The event highlighted how rapidly the market is evolving and how important practical, scalable solutions have become for organizations navigating increasingly complex energy requirements.
Representing Güntner at the event were:
- Oliver Bröldiek, Energy & Process Cooling Business Development Manager
- Sławomir Golonka, Country Manager Poland
who welcomed visitors to the Güntner stand and engaged in discussions with energy producers, industrial end users, EPC contractors, consultants and technology partners from across the industry.
Throughout the two-day event, one message emerged consistently: organizations are seeking technologies that deliver measurable operational and economic benefits while supporting long-term sustainability goals. Whether discussing CHP plants, biogas facilities, district heating networks or large-scale heat pump projects, visitors were focused on increasing efficiency, reducing energy consumption and ensuring reliable operation over the long term.
These conversations reinforced several important industry trends. Energy efficiency continues to be a key driver behind investment decisions, while growing performance expectations are placing greater emphasis on system reliability, lifecycle costs and future-ready project design. At the same time, project stakeholders are actively exploring opportunities for heat recovery, hybrid and adiabatic cooling technologies, and solutions that can help maximize overall system performance.

Designed around Güntner's Energy & Process Cooling solutions, the stand provided a platform for discussing these challenges and opportunities in greater depth. Visitors explored cooling and heat rejection technologies designed to support demanding energy applications while exchanging experiences and insights from projects across the region. The stand also enabled valuable conversations around evolving customer requirements and the role of efficient cooling technologies in supporting the broader energy transition.
For Güntner, Energy Days was about more than showcasing technology. It was an opportunity to listen to the market, better understand customer priorities and gain first-hand insight into the challenges organizations are addressing today. The discussions highlighted a clear need for solutions that balance efficiency, sustainability and operational reliability while supporting the long-term success of critical energy infrastructure.
The event resulted in valuable new connections with end users, consultants, EPC contractors and technology partners, as well as promising opportunities for future collaboration and project development. Many of these conversations are already progressing into follow-up discussions focused on specific customer requirements and project opportunities.
As the energy transition continues to accelerate, collaboration across the industry remains essential. Events such as Energy Days play an important role in bringing together expertise, sharing knowledge and fostering the partnerships needed to build more efficient and sustainable energy systems.
We would like to thank everyone who visited the Güntner stand and shared their insights, challenges and project ambitions with our team. We look forward to continuing these conversations and supporting customers with reliable, energy-efficient cooling solutions for the energy systems of tomorrow.
